DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy Development & Execution:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's objectives and target market.
- Create innovative campaigns to promote the company’s services and increase brand visibility across multiple platforms.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activity, ensuring that marketing efforts are relevant and effective.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Manage customer care initiatives to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring customer issues are resolved efficiently.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, turning them into repeat customers.
Digital Marketing & Content Management:
- Manage content creation, including writing and designing engaging posts, articles, newsletters, and promotions to attract and retain customers.
- Monitor and analyze online campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
Promotional Activities & Event Coordination:
- Organize and coordinate promotional activities such as product launches, special offers, and community events to increase brand awareness.
- Work closely with the sales team to create promotional materials and support sales-driven initiatives.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Use data and analytics to measure the success of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to meet business objectives.
- Provide regular reports on marketing performance, ROI (Return on Investment), and customer engagement metrics to senior management.
Budget Management & Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and in line with company priorities.
- Track marketing expenses, ensuring that campaigns are within budget and delivering the desired results.
Brand Development & Consistency:
- Ensure that all marketing materials and communications reflect the company’s brand values and identity.
- Oversee the consistency of branding across all digital and print platforms, ensuring
Sales Support & Coordination:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts complement and support sales objectives.
- Assist in the creation of sales presentations, proposals, and other materials to help close deals and drive business growth.
Basic Bookkeeping and Administrative Tasks:
- Assist in tracking and managing the marketing budget, ensuring spending aligns with company expectations.
- Support basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoice tracking, expense reports, and ensuring financial records are up-to-date.
- Help maintain accurate records of all marketing activities and expenditures, assisting in audits and financial reviews.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in marketing, preferably within the SME sector
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, digital marketing tools, and customer engagement strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic bookkeeping skills will be an added advantage
