DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for retail and head office positions
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and source top talent
  • Oversee a smooth and efficient onboarding process for all new hires

Performance Management

  • Implement and manage performance evaluation processes across all departments
  • Support managers in goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans
  • Promote a performance-driven culture through regular coaching and development initiatives

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment
  • Design and execute employee engagement strategies to enhance morale and retention

HR Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure full compliance with Kenyan labour laws and company HR policies
  • Maintain up-to-date records of employee documentation and contracts
  • Update and enforce HR policies and procedures

Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate relevant internal or external training
  • Support career development initiatives and succession planning

HR Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare monthly HR reports on headcount, turnover, and other key HR metrics
  • Use data to inform HR strategies and decision-making

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3–5 years proven HR experience, specifically in the fashion or retail industry
  • Solid understanding of Kenyan employment law and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
