DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead the HR department in alignment with organizational goals, ensuring effective HR practices that support business operations.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that foster organizational growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide HR insights and support decision-making on organizational design, talent management, and workforce planning.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in HR, ensuring the company remains competitive and compliant.

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process for all levels of staff, ensuring a strong talent pipeline that meets the company’s needs.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, job specifications, and to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
  • Ensure effective onboarding of new hires and provide an optimal employee experience throughout their journey with the company.
  • Maintain a diverse and inclusive recruitment process in alignment with company values.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the point of contact for employee relations issues, providing advice, coaching, and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Lead the development and implementation of employee engagement programs to improve morale, retention, and productivity.
  • Resolve employee disputes and manage disciplinary procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Organize regular employee feedback surveys and work closely with leadership to implement actions based on feedback.

 

Performance Management

  • Oversee the performance management process, ensuring that employees are regularly assessed and provided with constructive feedback.
  • Develop and maintain performance appraisal systems and ensure adherence to performance standards across all departments.
  • Assist with the identification of training needs based on performance evaluations and organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with department heads to manage employee development and succession planning.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee compensation and benefits management, ensuring competitive and equitable salary structures across the organization.
  • Conduct regular market salary surveys to ensure compensation is aligned with industry standards.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll and related benefits.
  • Advise on employee welfare programs and initiatives that enhance job satisfaction and well-being.

Compliance & HR Administration

  • Ensure that the company complies with all labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements related to employment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR systems, and documentation.
  • Lead audits on HR processes and recommend improvements to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Manage HR reporting and analytics, providing regular updates to senior management on key HR metrics and trends.

Training & Development

  • Identify skill gaps within the organization and develop programs to address these gaps through training, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Lead the development and implementation of leadership training programs for management and potential future leaders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the workforce.

Health & Safety

  • Collaborate with safety officers and management to ensure that the company's health and safety policies are effective and in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Promote a safe working environment for all employees, particularly in the high-risk security industry.
  • Ensure the company’s emergency preparedness and response plans are robust and communicated to employees.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, HR certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
  • Proven experience in the security industry or a related high-risk environment.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
