HOUSEKEEPER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Laundry Management:

• Efficiently operate washing machines to launder various types of fabrics and items, adhering to care label instructions.
• Properly load and unload washing machines to prevent damage and ensure optimal cleaning.
• Utilize dryer machines to dry all types of linen, ensuring they are completely dry and free of wrinkles.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of washing and drying machines.

Ironing and Linen Care:

• Perform high-quality ironing of clothing, bed linens, towels, and other fabric items to a professional standard.
• Ensure all ironed items are neatly folded and stored appropriately.
• Identify and report any damaged or stained linens.

Bed Making:

• Make beds to a very high standard, ensuring tight tucks, smooth surfaces, and a presentable appearance.
• Change bed linens regularly and as needed.
• Ensure all necessary bedding items (sheets, blankets, pillows, etc.) are clean and in good condition.

General Housekeeping and Cleanliness:

• Maintain a very high standard of cleanliness throughout the designated areas.
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens.
• Emptying trash and recycling bins.
• Ensuring all surfaces are clean and free of clutter.
• Stocking necessary supplies (cleaning products, toiletries, etc.).

Other Duties:

• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate person.
• Follow instructions and schedules provided.
• Maintain a professional and discreet demeanor.
• Assist with other household tasks as needed and as agreed upon.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Specialist with a strong focus on laundry, ironing, and bed making
• Excellent knowledge of operating washing and drying machines
• Demonstrable ability to perform high-quality ironing on various fabrics
• Exceptional bed-making skills with attention to detail
• A very strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
