DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer Engagement: Actively approach and greet potential guests outside the restaurant, offering a warm invitation to visit.
  • Menu Promotion: Provide information on our menu, daily specials, and any ongoing promotions to entice passersby.
  • Brand Representation: Be a friendly and approachable face for the restaurant, embodying the brand’s values of quality, hospitality, and warmth.
  • Reservation Management: Encourage walk-ins or assist with reservations for guests, providing wait time information when necessary.
  • Upselling and Marketing: Promote signature dishes, events, or promotions that can help attract guests.
  • Networking: Build and maintain a network of repeat customers by creating personal connections and encouraging regular visits.
  • Collaboration with Staff: Work closely with the internal team (waitstaff, management, kitchen) to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from potential guests about what might attract them to visit and report insights to management.
  • Event Promotion: Promote special events, seasonal menus, or private dining options to passersby.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Presentation: Ensure your area is clean and well-kept, helping create a positive visual impression for the restaurant.
  • Safety Awareness: Ensure the safety of yourself and others by adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines while outside.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing or promotional role, ideally within hospitality, retail, or event marketing.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse groups of people.
  • Must be comfortable approaching strangers, initiating conversations, and handling rejections politely.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods outside, often in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple guests or interactions at once, and coordinate with the restaurant team efficiently.
  • Maintain a neat and tidy appearance that aligns with the restaurant’s brand image.
