DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Management:
- Oversee all lodge operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and guest services.
- Implement efficient processes to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and financial performance of the lodge.
- Analyze operational performance and implement strategies for improvement.
Guest Experience:
- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards of service.
- Address guest complaints, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and take corrective actions when necessary.
Staff Management:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of lodge staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of all lodge staff.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
- Promote a strong culture of teamwork, communication, and accountability.
Event Planning:
- Coordinate and manage events, including corporate retreats, weddings, and group bookings, ensuring all details are executed to the highest standard.
- Work with the marketing team to promote lodge events and special offerings.
- Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure the successful execution of events.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
- Proven experience in operations management, guest experience, staff management, and event planning
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of professionalism
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
