DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Operations Management:

  • Oversee all lodge operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and guest services.
  • Implement efficient processes to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and financial performance of the lodge.
  • Analyze operational performance and implement strategies for improvement.

 Guest Experience:

  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards of service.
  • Address guest complaints, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and take corrective actions when necessary.

Staff Management:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of lodge staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of all lodge staff.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Promote a strong culture of teamwork, communication, and accountability.

Event Planning:

  • Coordinate and manage events, including corporate retreats, weddings, and group bookings, ensuring all details are executed to the highest standard.
  • Work with the marketing team to promote lodge events and special offerings.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure the successful execution of events.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
  • Proven experience in operations management, guest experience, staff management, and event planning
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of professionalism
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management
