JOB SUMMARY

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving growth within the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve business goals.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Stay informed on market conditions and customer needs to create tailored solutions.
  • Business Strategy Development:
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic business development plans.
  • Set clear objectives and key results (OKRs) for business growth and identify new markets for expansion.

Sales and Lead Generation:

  • Generate leads, prospect new clients, and manage a sales pipeline to meet revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and work to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.

 

 

Negotiation and Deal Closure:

  • Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
  • Close deals and secure contracts to meet or exceed revenue goals.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery of business solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of projects.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track sales performance and report on key metrics such as revenue growth, lead conversion, and market share.
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve business development strategies.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, market dynamics, and business expansion techniques
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
