DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand Strategy Development

  • Define and implement the brand strategy to drive long-term growth in the FMCG sector.
  • Conduct market analysis, consumer insights, and competitive assessments to guide brand positioning and opportunities.
  • Develop annual and long-term brand plans, incorporating goals and objectives aligned with company strategy.

Brand Communication & Marketing Campaigns

  • Lead the development of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, retail, etc.).
  • Work closely with creative, media, and digital teams to ensure the brand message is consistent and impactful.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of promotional materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.

Product Lifecycle & Portfolio Management

  • Oversee the development, launch, and management of products within the brand portfolio.
  • Monitor and assess the performance of products, making recommendations for improvements, product modifications, or discontinuation.
  • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to ensure successful product innovation and market readiness.

Budget & P&L Management

  • Manage brand budgets, ensuring the effective allocation of resources and tracking spend against brand goals.
  • Maximize return on investment (ROI) for all brand activities, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.

 

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on brand objectives and market execution.
  • Work with external agencies, vendors, and media partners to implement marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate with the digital and social media teams to build brand awareness and engage with the target audience.

Market Research & Insights

  • Lead consumer and market research initiatives to gather data and insights that inform brand strategies and tactics.
  • Continuously monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead of industry shifts and adjust strategies accordingly.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior brand or marketing team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging cross-functional teamwork.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Brand Manager or Marketing Manager in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, brand development, and marketing strategy.
  • Experience with integrated marketing campaigns, both online and offline.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in data analysis and utilizing insights to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms and tools is an advantage.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
