DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Management:

  • Assist in managing all F&B operations and ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion sizes to ensure consistency with company standards.
  • Oversee daily operations of dining outlets, bars, kitchens, and banquets.
  • Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food and beverage costs.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through high levels of service, quality, and consistency.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and efficiently to enhance their experience.
  • Implement feedback and ensure continual improvement in customer service standards.

Staff Supervision and Training:

  • Supervise, mentor, and lead F&B staff, ensuring that they adhere to company standards and policies.
  • Assist in training staff on customer service, safety regulations, and food handling procedures.
  • Create and maintain staff schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels for peak periods.

Financial Management:

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining cost controls for the F&B department.
  • Track sales and revenue goals, ensuring the department meets its financial objectives.
  • Monitor wastage, portion control, and staff productivity to maintain cost-effectiveness.

 

 

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health and safety standards, and all local laws.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen, bar, and dining areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
  • Maintain and monitor health and safety records.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies to promote F&B offerings.
  • Ensure proper execution of promotional events and activities.
  • Monitor customer feedback to enhance menu offerings and introduce new products.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within food and beverage operations, preferably in a hotel or similar hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and multitask in a fast-paced environment
