DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Welding and Fabrication:

• Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
• Fabricate and repair metal structures and components, ensuring quality and precision.
• Operate welding machines and tools safely and efficiently.

Mechanical Fitting:

• Assemble and install mechanical components and systems, ensuring proper functionality.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues as needed.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all work meets safety standards and specifications.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the workspace.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping for maintenance and repairs.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with other team members, including engineers and technicians, to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to address any technical concerns.

Adherence to Safety Protocols:

• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience as a welder or mechanical fitter in a company setup
• Strong welding skills (MIG, TIG, Arc)
• Proficient in mechanical fitting and assembly
• Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
