DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Management & Stock Control:
- Receive goods from suppliers and verify their accuracy against purchase orders.
- Raise Goods Received Notes (GRNs) on Odoo for all received goods.
- Generate purchase orders on Odoo for glass bottles, glass cullets, and glass waste from suppliers.
- Maintain updated and accurate stock records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Ensure all stock movements are recorded in the system in real-time.
- Conduct regular stock reconciliations to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.
Stock Transfers & Warehouse Operations:
- Prepare Goods Transfer Notes (GTNs) for stock transfers between the two company sites.
- Coordinate stock movement from the dirty store to the clean store and update records accordingly.
- Issue bottles to washing casuals and record transactions both physically and on the Odoo system in real-time.
- Regularly update and reconcile stock sheets to ensure accuracy in stock levels.
Warehouse Organization & Maintenance:
- Ensure proper arrangement and organization of stocks in the warehouse for easy access and safety.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and accessibility of stocks in the warehouse.
- Conduct regular stock counts and report any discrepancies to management.
Workforce Management:
- Supervise and manage staff in the dirty store, ensuring efficient work allocation.
- Compute and process wages for the dirty store casuals.
- Address employee inquiries regarding wages, work schedules, and general store operations.
- Handle employee disputes within the warehouse.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate filing of stock-related documents, including purchase orders, GRNs, GTNs, and stock sheets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations in stock handling.
- Assist in stock audits and provide necessary documentation for reviews.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in a business- related field
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a relevant role preferably in warehouse operations and inventory management through an ERP system preferably Odoo system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Ms Excel, Ms Word, Ms Powerpoint
- Ability to manage a team and coordinate warehouse activities effectively
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
