VAN DRIVER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transport pets and pet-related products to and from client locations, vet clinics, and grooming centers.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the company vehicle.
• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries as per the schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of daily trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Assist with loading and unloading of pets and supplies with care.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors regarding routes and delivery times.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions immediately to the Operations Manager.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Diploma in any field from a recognized institution
• At least 3 years of proven driving experience, preferably in a service-related industry
• Must hold a valid and clean driving license
• Excellent knowledge of Nairobi roads and traffic patterns
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Ability to handle pets calmly and respectfully
• Physically fit and capable of handling occasional lifting and carrying
