JOB LOCATION: Umoja, Kayole, Mowlem, Dandora, Kariobangi, Huruma, Uhuru, Jericho, Buru, Ruai, Joska, Ruiru, Githunguri, Kiambu, Thika, Kawangware, Kibera, Kangemi ,Waruku, Kiserian, Rongai, Mlolongo, Kitengela, Athiriver, Machakos, Roysambu, Sunton, Babadogo, Luckysummer, Pipeline, Utawala, CBD.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Visit retail outlets and FMCG stores in your assigned area daily.
- Collect new product orders from shop owners and ensure accuracy of quantities.
- Verify stock availability and confirm order feasibility with the warehouse or inventory team.
- Coordinate with the delivery team to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
- Track delivery schedules and ensure products reach the shops in good condition.
- Address any delivery-related issues on the spot or escalate to the manager as needed.
- Collect payments from retail clients as per agreed timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of collections, outstanding dues, and invoices.
- Report discrepancies or delayed payments to the supervisor promptly.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with retail shop owners.
- Understand client needs and suggest suitable products or promotions.
- Handle complaints professionally and ensure client satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activities and promotions in your area.
- Gather feedback from retailers on product demand, pricing, and customer preferences.
- Share insights with the management to help improve sales strategies.
- Prepare daily or weekly reports on order collections, deliveries, and payments.
- Maintain records of client interactions and update CRM or internal tracking tools.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and order collection targets.
- Actively pursue opportunities to increase order volumes and expand client base.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your area efficiently
- Own a reliable means of transport (preferred but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of FMCG products is a plus
