DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for Projects
- Prepare and review BoQs for technical projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness of material and labor requirements.
 - Coordinate with project managers and other departments to finalize quantities and costs.
 
Supervision of Technicians
- Supervise a team of technicians to ensure efficient execution of tasks and adherence to safety and quality standards.
 - Provide guidance, support, and troubleshooting as needed on technical issues encountered on-site.
 
Planning of Works
- Develop work schedules and plans for projects, ensuring that the required resources are available and timelines are realistic.
 - Liaise with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and deadlines.
 
Assignment of Duties to Technicians
- Allocate tasks to technicians based on their skills and project requirements.
 - Ensure that all technicians are clear on their responsibilities and expectations for each assignment.
 
Site Survey
- Conduct site surveys to assess the feasibility of projects, identify potential issues, and gather necessary data for accurate planning and execution.
 - Provide technical assessments and feedback based on site conditions.
 
Requisitions
- Prepare and manage requisitions for materials and tools required for the project.
 - Ensure that all required materials are available on-site and manage inventory to prevent shortages or delays.
 
Direct Technicians
- Provide direct supervision on the site, ensuring tasks are being completed efficiently and according to the project specifications.
 - Monitor technician progress and performance, ensuring deadlines are met.
 
Evaluate Technicians
- Regularly assess the performance of technicians based on quality of work, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols.
 - Provide constructive feedback and identify areas for improvement.
 - Recommend additional training and development where necessary.
 
Quality Assurance
- Ensure Compliance – Verify adherence to industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
 - Conduct Inspections – Perform routine site checks to assess work quality, identify defects, and enforce corrective actions.
 - Implement Quality Control Procedures – Establish and enforce best practices to maintain high workmanship standards.
 - Safety & Risk Management – Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and mitigate potential hazards.
 - Stakeholder Communication – Collaborate with clients, engineers, and management to align expectations and resolve quality issues.
 
Other Duties
- Perform any other duties as reasonably assigned by the supervisor or management that align with the employee’s skills, qualifications, and the overall purpose of the role.
 - Adapt to additional responsibilities or projects that support the company’s objectives, provided they are consistent with the scope of the employee's position and employment contract.
 
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
 - 3-5 years experience as a team leader within a technical environment
 - In-depth knowledge of technical processes, industry standards, and regulations
 - Proven experience in planning and coordinating technical projects, managing schedules, budgets, and resources.
 - Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to construction or technical work environments.
 - Experience In Evaluating Technician Performance And Implementing Corrective Measures.
