DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Store Operations & Management
- Oversee all daily store operations to ensure the store runs efficiently and profitably.
- Implement and enforce store policies, procedures, and standards.
- Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing according to brand guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales, customer transactions, and stock movement.
Sales & Customer Experience
- Drive sales performance to meet or exceed monthly targets.
- Provide outstanding customer service and handle escalated customer issues professionally.
- Train and motivate staff on upselling, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques.
- Build strong relationships with regular clients and ensure customer retention.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels, place timely orders, and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and reconcile any stock discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Ensure all products are correctly labeled, priced, and displayed.
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Supervise, train, and mentor store staff, including sales assistants and cashiers.
- Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during business hours.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare and submit sales reports, expense reports, and inventory records to management.
- Monitor cash flow, perform daily cash reconciliations, and ensure banking is done on time.
- Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and company policies.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Store Manager or Supervisor in a beauty, cosmetics, or skincare environment
- Strong understanding of beauty products, customer buying behavior, and market trends
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle cash and POS systems with accuracy
- Proficient in inventory and stock management
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
