DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Store Operations & Management

  • Oversee all daily store operations to ensure the store runs efficiently and profitably.
  • Implement and enforce store policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing according to brand guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily sales, customer transactions, and stock movement.

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Drive sales performance to meet or exceed monthly targets.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and handle escalated customer issues professionally.
  • Train and motivate staff on upselling, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques.
  • Build strong relationships with regular clients and ensure customer retention.

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitor stock levels, place timely orders, and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and reconcile any stock discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Ensure all products are correctly labeled, priced, and displayed.

Team Leadership & Staff Management

  • Supervise, train, and mentor store staff, including sales assistants and cashiers.
  • Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during business hours.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare and submit sales reports, expense reports, and inventory records to management.
  • Monitor cash flow, perform daily cash reconciliations, and ensure banking is done on time.
  • Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and company policies.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Store Manager or Supervisor in a beauty, cosmetics, or skincare environment
  • Strong understanding of beauty products, customer buying behavior, and market trends
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash and POS systems with accuracy
  • Proficient in inventory and stock management
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
