DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail Sales Execution:
- Actively visit assigned retail outlets on a daily/weekly schedule to promote and sell the company’s alcoholic beverages.
- Present product offerings clearly and persuasively to shop owners and retail staff.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales and profitability.
Order Management:
- Collect accurate orders from retail outlets and ensure they are processed in a timely manner.
- Track order delivery and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain records of sales transactions and update sales reporting systems regularly.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with shop owners and retail staff.
- Serve as the main point of contact for retail outlets, addressing inquiries, complaints, or special requests promptly.
- Educate retailers about new products, promotions, and seasonal offerings to encourage repeat business.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotions in the retail sector.
- Gather market feedback, including customer preferences, trends, and challenges in retail environments.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports, highlighting performance, insights, and opportunities.
Stock & Merchandising Management:
- Ensure proper display and merchandising of products in retail outlets according to brand guidelines.
- Check inventory levels at retail points and advise on restocking needs.
- Ensure products are stored and presented according to safety and quality standards.
Achievement of Sales Targets:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
- Develop strategies to increase sales in assigned territory, including promotions, sampling, and loyalty programs.
- Continuously look for new retail opportunities to expand the customer base.
Professional Representation:
- Represent the company professionally during all retail interactions.
- Uphold brand image and ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Certificate in any field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in retail sales of alcoholic beverages (Wines & Spirits)
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets and managing retail accounts
- Hands-on experience with shop visits, order collection, and customer relationship management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
