DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Growth: Actively seek out new sales opportunities and clients within the logistics, clearing, and forwarding sectors. Develop strategies to meet sales targets and expand market share.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing tailored solutions and addressing customer needs promptly and professionally.
  • Market Research and Reporting: Conduct market research to understand client needs, competitor activities, and industry trends. Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for management.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop deep knowledge of the company’s products and services to effectively present offerings to clients. Provide accurate information on moving and logistics solutions.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Manage the negotiation process, close sales, and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients. Work with operations and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met, deadlines are adhered to, and quality service is delivered.
  • Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the sales process and post-sales phase. Address any customer complaints or issues in a timely manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including customer interactions, quotations, and contracts.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sales position, preferably in a clearing and forwarding, logistics, or moving company
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems
  • Knowledge of the logistics, clearing, and forwarding industry is an added advantage
