DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through field visits, cold calls, social media outreach, referrals, and attending relevant networking events.
  • Research potential clients to understand their industry, pain points, and potential for partnership.
  • Conduct detailed client consultations to understand their technology requirements.
  • Translate technical needs into product and service recommendations that align with their goals and budget.
  • Stay updated on current product offerings to provide accurate and relevant solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, product demos, and presentations tailored to the client’s use case.
  • Clearly explain the benefits, features, and ROI of tech products and services to decision-makers.
  • Draft and issue quotations, proposals, and invoices as per company procedures.
  • Follow up consistently with clients to answer queries, negotiate terms, and close sales deals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring prompt response to inquiries or issues.
  • Schedule regular follow-ups to check on satisfaction and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Build trust and loyalty to ensure repeat business and long-term client partnerships.
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure smooth product delivery and implementation.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients post-purchase, ensuring they are fully satisfied and their systems are functioning as expected.
  • Escalate any technical problems to relevant internal teams for quick resolution.
  • Uphold the company’s values and image by maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
  • Promote the brand positively in all interactions with clients, partners, and the public.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably within a tech or ICT company.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to identify client needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Basic understanding of IT products (hardware, software, networking, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common digital communication tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be based in or willing to work from Nairobi CBD
