DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Strategy & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company goals and targets growth in key market segments.
  • Oversee brand positioning and ensure all communications reflect the brand’s values, tone, and identity.
  • Plan and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, in-store promotions, and events.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and market opportunities.
  • Track and analyze marketing KPIs (e.g., ROI on campaigns, engagement metrics, lead generation) to optimize strategies.
  • Collaborate with product development to launch new products, ensuring effective go-to-market strategies.

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, including retail, distribution, and e-commerce channels.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to address market dynamics and competitor activities.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports for senior management.
  • Lead client relationship management, including maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and distributors.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage a high-performing sales and marketing team, setting clear objectives and KPIs for each team member.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure growth, engagement, and high performance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and collaboration within the team.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and share market insights.

Budgeting & Resource Management

  • Prepare and manage the marketing and sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Monitor expenditure and ensure campaigns are delivered within budget while maximizing ROI.
  • Negotiate with vendors, media agencies, and promotional partners to secure cost-effective solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product development, operations, and customer service teams to ensure alignment across business functions.
  • Provide market feedback to inform product innovation, packaging, and pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with digital teams to optimize online presence, SEO, and e-commerce strategies.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Analyze market and sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Recommend corrective actions or strategy pivots based on analytics insights.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the beauty or personal care industry.
  • Proven track record in brand management and successful sales strategy implementation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
