DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company goals and targets growth in key market segments.
- Oversee brand positioning and ensure all communications reflect the brand’s values, tone, and identity.
- Plan and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, in-store promotions, and events.
- Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and market opportunities.
- Track and analyze marketing KPIs (e.g., ROI on campaigns, engagement metrics, lead generation) to optimize strategies.
- Collaborate with product development to launch new products, ensuring effective go-to-market strategies.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, including retail, distribution, and e-commerce channels.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to address market dynamics and competitor activities.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports for senior management.
- Lead client relationship management, including maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and distributors.
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage a high-performing sales and marketing team, setting clear objectives and KPIs for each team member.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure growth, engagement, and high performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and collaboration within the team.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and share market insights.
Budgeting & Resource Management
- Prepare and manage the marketing and sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Monitor expenditure and ensure campaigns are delivered within budget while maximizing ROI.
- Negotiate with vendors, media agencies, and promotional partners to secure cost-effective solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product development, operations, and customer service teams to ensure alignment across business functions.
- Provide market feedback to inform product innovation, packaging, and pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with digital teams to optimize online presence, SEO, and e-commerce strategies.
Reporting & Analytics
- Analyze market and sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and ROI.
- Recommend corrective actions or strategy pivots based on analytics insights.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the beauty or personal care industry.
- Proven track record in brand management and successful sales strategy implementation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
