DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
- Actively promote and sell non-diagnostic medical equipment to healthcare institutions including hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, and medical centers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute effective sales plans to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct regular field visits to existing and prospective clients to maintain strong relationships.
Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term partnerships with key decision-makers such as procurement officers, hospital administrators, pharmacists, and clinicians.
- Provide professional product information, pricing details, and usage guidance to clients.
- Address client inquiries, objections, and complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Product Presentation & Demonstration
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to showcase features, benefits, and value propositions of non-diagnostic medical equipment.
- Educate customers on correct product usage and basic operational requirements where necessary.
- Stay updated on product specifications and industry developments to effectively position offerings against competitors.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the healthcare and medical equipment industry.
- Gather and share market intelligence to support product positioning and pricing strategies.
- Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates for management review.
Order Management & After-Sales Support
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and invoicing.
- Follow up on deliveries and ensure smooth installation or handover where applicable.
- Support after-sales activities and collaborate with service teams to resolve product-related issues.
Compliance & Professional Conduct
- Ensure all sales activities comply with healthcare industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and sales documentation.
- Represent the company professionally at all times in the field.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree or Diploma in any field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling non-diagnostic medical equipment.
- Proven experience selling to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, and healthcare institutions
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in the field
- Good reporting and time-management skills
