DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing & Business Development
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow SACCO membership and increase uptake of products and services.
 - Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and member needs.
 - Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential members to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction.
 - Develop promotional campaigns for loans, savings, and other financial products.
 - Create and distribute marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, and digital content.
 - Plan and execute member recruitment drives, open days, roadshows, and community outreach programs.
 - Monitor competitor activities and suggest strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
 
Member Relations & Customer Service
- Handle member inquiries and provide timely and accurate information about SACCO products and services.
 - Collect member feedback and work with relevant departments to improve service delivery.
 - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through consistent follow-ups and relationship management.
 
Digital Marketing & Communication
- Manage the SACCO’s social media pages and website, ensuring content is up-to-date and engaging.
 - Collaborate with external service providers to develop digital campaigns, advertisements, and branding material.
 - Monitor and report on the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives.
 
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on marketing performance, campaign outcomes, and member growth.
 - Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing impact and suggest improvements.
 
Administrative Support
- Maintain an updated database of potential leads and marketing contacts.
 - Assist with planning and execution of SACCO events and sponsorship activities.
 - Ensure marketing activities are aligned with the SACCO’s strategic goals and compliant with all regulatory guidelines.
 
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma in Cooperative Management, CPA, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
 - At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a SACCO or financial institution
 - Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies and business development plans
 - Good understanding of SACCO policies, systems, and operational procedures
