DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Marketing Planning & Execution

  • Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive annual and quarterly marketing plans that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Identify key growth opportunities and develop targeted campaigns to penetrate new markets or segments.
  • Lead market research and competitive analysis to guide product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional tactics.

Brand Management

  • Champion the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and visual representation across all platforms and customer touchpoints.
  • Develop brand guidelines and ensure all teams and external partners adhere to brand standards.
  • Lead rebranding or brand extension projects where necessary.

Digital Marketing Leadership

  • Create and execute a robust digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, display advertising, social media, and email marketing.
  • Manage the company’s online presence, including the website, e-commerce platforms, and social media channels, ensuring optimization for user experience and conversion.
  • Track digital KPIs (CTR, engagement rates, conversion rates, etc.) and implement improvements based on performance data.

Content & Campaign Development

  • Oversee the development of creative marketing content—including videos, product imagery, blogs, and copywriting—that communicates the brand’s story and values.
  • Plan and launch product marketing campaigns for new products or seasonal promotions, including launch timelines, influencer outreach, retail displays, and promotional offers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external designers, copywriters, and production teams to deliver high-quality creative assets.

Sales & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the sales team to create promotional programs and sales enablement materials that support lead generation and revenue growth.
  • Liaise with product development and R&D teams to ensure marketing supports product innovation and aligns with customer needs.
  • Work with the operations and logistics teams to ensure alignment in product availability during campaigns or launches.

Customer & Market Insights

  • Conduct regular customer feedback surveys, focus groups, and data analysis to inform marketing strategies and improve customer experience.
  • Identify and track key customer personas and buying behaviors across multiple channels.

Performance Measurement & Reporting

  • Set measurable objectives (KPIs) for all marketing activities and regularly evaluate performance against targets.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly marketing performance reports, analyzing campaign ROI, customer acquisition costs, and overall effectiveness.
  • Make data-driven decisions to adjust strategies, optimize campaigns, and improve customer engagement.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across campaigns, media channels, and tools.
  • Monitor and report on budget utilization, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within financial constraints.

Agency & Vendor Management

  • Identify, select, and manage relationships with advertising agencies, creative partners, media buyers, and digital marketing firms.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure all outsourced work is delivered according to brief, budget, and timeline.

 

Events, PR & Influencer Marketing

  • Plan and execute brand activations, exhibitions, and product launch events to generate buzz and attract media attention.
  • Build and manage relationships with influencers, beauty bloggers, and industry personalities to extend brand reach and credibility.
  • Oversee PR strategy, including press releases and media relations, to increase brand visibility in both trade and mainstream media.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar marketing role, preferably in the beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG sector
  • Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable business results
  • Strong digital marketing skills, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and performance analytics
  • Excellent brand management and storytelling capabilities
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
