JOB SUMMARY
The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in steering the company’s strategic growth by effectively aligning human capital needs with organizational objectives. This position involves overseeing all aspects of human resource management within a busy manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and support business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and address workforce planning needs.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Oversee recruitment processes, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
- Implement onboarding programs to facilitate new hire integration and culture acclimatization.
- Manage performance appraisal systems and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement initiatives and facilitating conflict resolution.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and grievances, ensuring fair treatment and adherence to company policies.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and design development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
- Conduct salary surveys and analyze market trends to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Compliance and Policy Development:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes in employment legislation.
- Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to drive decision-making and improve HR processes.
- Prepare and present HR reports to management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
Generalist Duties:
- Handle various HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and managing HR documentation.
- Lead initiatives for workplace health and safety compliance in line with manufacturing standards.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in strategic HR management and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
