DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Ensure smooth check-in/check-out procedures and handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor occupancy rates, reservations, and room availability to maximize revenue.
Staff Supervision:
- Lead and supervise staff across all departments to ensure high productivity and service standards.
- Schedule staff shifts and assign tasks to ensure efficiency and coverage.
- Train and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Customer Service & Guest Relations:
- Maintain a high standard of hospitality and guest service at all times.
- Handle guest complaints, feedback, and special requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Develop initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Financial & Inventory Management:
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the hotel.
- Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations without compromising service quality.
- Oversee procurement and inventory of hotel supplies and amenities.
Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure the hotel complies with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar supervisory role in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations and service standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities
- Customer-focused mindset with an eye for detail
