DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with overall business objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop actionable plans to capture these opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment in messaging and positioning.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Establish clear performance goals for team members, ensuring alignment with company targets.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and identifying professional development needs.
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to assess team performance and identify trends.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to develop strategies for improvement and maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on sales performance and forecasting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key dealers and clients to foster loyalty and trust.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and responsiveness.
  • Address and resolve any client concerns or issues in a timely manner to enhance customer retention.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive activities, and evolving customer needs.
  • Analyze competitor strategies to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • College certificate in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Indian candidates preferred due to diversity in the company
  • 2+ years of sales management experience, preferably in general machines or spare parts
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions based on findings.
  • Proficient in excel.
  • Have a passion for agricultural machines
  • Speak English, Swahili
