DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential units.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting systems.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and standards.
  • Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential units.
  • Diagnose and fix issues with water supply systems, drainage, and waste disposal.
  • Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks, clogs, and other issues.
  • Ensure all plumbing work adheres to relevant codes and standards.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, including inspections and repairs.
  • Coordinate with management to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to residents.
  • Work closely with the property management team to address tenant concerns related to electrical and plumbing issues.
  • Provide timely updates on the status of maintenance requests and projects.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance staff as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in regulations related to electrical and plumbing work.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to management immediately.

 

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience working as an electrician, with additional plumbing duties.
  • Plumbing qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
