DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contact customers with overdue accounts via phone, email, or in-person visits.
- Negotiate repayment plans that align with company policies and client capacity.
- Update account information and payment statuses in the database.
- Maintain accurate records of communications and follow-up activities.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets.
- Address customer queries and provide appropriate solutions.
- Escalate unresolved cases to supervisors for further action.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
- Provide feedback on customer challenges or recurring issues to the management.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Certificate or Diploma in Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or debt collection is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Good computer literacy and experience with CRM or collection software is an added advantage.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
