CARPENTER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out repair, renovation, and installation of wooden components such as doors, windows, cabinets, and staircases
• Construct wooden frames, partitions, shelves, and other customized structures as required
• Inspect and assess carpentry work required and report on material needs
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to meet project specifications
• Ensure all work is done to a high standard of quality and within agreed timelines
• Collaborate with estate maintenance team on broader renovation and repair works
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Minimum of a Craft Certificate in Carpentry or related field
• At least 2 years’ experience in residential or estate carpentry work
• Must possess a valid Certificate of Good Conduct
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good physical condition and ability to handle heavy tools and materials
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
