DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Business Development

  • Develop and implement business growth strategies to increase patient volumes, service uptake, and geographical reach.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities including new corporate partnerships, insurance panels, and referral networks.
  • Lead the onboarding and management of corporate, institutional, and insurance clients.
  • Work with department heads to identify and package high-demand service lines for B2B and B2C audiences.

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Plan and oversee integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, radio, outdoor) to promote hospital services and new offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies for branding, advertising, and public relations efforts.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all patient-facing and stakeholder communication.
  • Analyze and improve patient acquisition funnels across digital and traditional platforms.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with corporate clients, referring physicians, TPAs, insurance providers, and government agencies.
  • Represent the hospital at medical conferences, health expos, CSR activities, and industry events.
  • Conduct client feedback and satisfaction surveys, and use insights to improve service delivery.

 

 

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform growth strategy.
  • Monitor KPIs related to business development and marketing (patient growth, revenue from partnerships, lead conversions).
  • Prepare monthly reports and dashboards for senior leadership on marketing ROI and business development performance.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field
  • MBA or relevant Master’s degree is a plus
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in business development and/or marketing, preferably in the healthcare or hospital industry
  • Proven track record of managing B2B relationships and driving service line growth
  • Strategic thinking and market analysis
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and CRM systems
