AGRO BUSINESS COUNTRY SALES MANAGER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Market research and development activities for immediate vicinity of Lusaka, followed by Region wise targeting with focus on prominent farmer/ trader/ stockiest identification, advertising and promotion plans, understanding the crop sectors, target markets and traditional seasonal trends.
• Company Assets, Stocks and Cash custodian.
• Pricing, packaging and quality issues coordination with head office.
• Coordinate with head office for re-stocking on regular basis as per demand and seasonal projections.
• Generating sales leads and orders and Monthly sales Project on cycle based on research, demand and seasons.
• Coordinate with head office on submission of daily, monthly and annual reporting requirements (sales reports, expense reports, daily banking summary, stock reconciliations etc.)
• Weekly stock counting and reconciliation.
• New product research and identification in coordination with head office and ground trends.
• Local staff identification, recruitment and delegation and supervision as appropriate (planning, implementing and monitoring); cleaner/ helper, driver and sales persons -Regular team debriefings and team building
• Maintenance of relevant databases for research, planning, reporting and follow ups -Maintenance of all company hard copy records; books of accounts, statutory items, vehicle logs etc
• Planning sale trips for the local staff, including van sales and branch level strategy -Regular field visits to branches and key customers

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Degree in an Agricultural related field
• 5+ Years’ experience in Agro Business sales Role
• Proficient with MS office, email, WhatsApp responsiveness High level English language written and spoken skills
• Team building and management
• All travel expenses shall be  covered by our client
