DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Reporting & Record Keeping: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable Management: Oversee and manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring the accuracy of accounts payable and receivable.
- Budgeting & Cash Flow Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial health.
- Tax & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and statutory filings, including NHI, NSSF, PAYE, etc.
- Internal Controls & Audit Support: Strengthen internal financial controls, assist in preparing for audits, and ensure proper financial governance.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, Logistics, Clients, etc.) to ensure financial practices align with organizational goals.
- Financial Systems: Proactively contribute to the streamlining of accounting processes and systems (e.g., Odoo, QuickBooks, SAP, Sage).
- Inventory Management: Oversee the accuracy of inventory accounting and reporting processes.
- Payroll Administration: Ensure timely processing and filing of payroll and related statutory returns.
- Administrative & Support Functions: Assist with administrative tasks related to finance and accounting, including liaising with suppliers, OEMs, and clients.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Postgraduate Diploma / Certification in taxation & CPA K
- Must have knowledge of financial regulations and statutory requirements
