WAREHOUSE CASUALS (20 POSITIONS)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Packaging: Ensure products (fresh produce, vegetables, fruits) are properly packed in accordance with quality standards.
• Loading and Offloading: Assist with loading and unloading goods in the warehouse to and from delivery vehicles.
• Stock Management: Help with the movement of stock within the warehouse, ensuring items are properly stored and easily accessible.
• Cleaning and Organizing: Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all materials and equipment are stored in designated areas.
• Quality Control: Check products for quality before packing and report any damaged goods.
• Compliance: Follow safety standards and procedures at all times, including those related to food handling, hygiene, and storage.
• Food Handling: Adhere to food safety guidelines, ensuring products meet the necessary standards for freshness and quality.
• Physical Stamina: Be able to work long hours on your feet, lifting and moving goods, in a physically demanding role.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

• Previous experience working in a fresh produce, vegetables, or fruits packing environment is an advantage
• Must possess a valid food handler's certificate
• Ability to perform manual tasks that require physical strength, stamina, and dexterity
• Must be available to work night shifts
• Strong attention to detail, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
