DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and manage sales of agricultural produce to Mama Mbogas in the Nakuru region.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring consistent and repeat sales.
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules with vendors to maximize sales.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to provide valuable feedback to the sales team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including resolving any issues or complaints.
  • Report on sales performance and track key metrics to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth operations and inventory management.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, particularly in agricultural produce or FMCG
  • Strong understanding of the local agricultural market and vendor dynamics in the Nakuru region
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics is a plus
  • A valid driver's license is preferred
