JOB SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Shops Manager to oversee the daily operations and performance of their retail store(s). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the store(s), driving sales, managing staff, and delivering exceptional customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Store Operations Management: Assume full responsibility for the overall management and daily operations of the retail store(s). This includes overseeing store opening and closing procedures, maintaining store appearance and cleanliness, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets. Implement strategies to drive sales growth, monitor sales performance, and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement.
- Team Leadership and Management: Supervise, train, and mentor store staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. This includes scheduling staff, delegating tasks, providing feedback, and addressing any employee relations issues.
- Customer Service: Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service by all staff members. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and address any issues related to store management in a professional and timely manner.
- Market Awareness and Reporting: Actively monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Collect and report relevant market information to the company to support business decision-making.
- Company Instruction and Task Completion: Carry out company directives and effectively complete any other tasks assigned by leadership.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Must have 3-5 years of working experience in a similar position
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and coordinate a team
- Possess a strong sense of responsibility, a positive and proactive work ethic, and excellent professional ethics, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
