JOB SUMMARY

The Import and Export Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales of our import and export services for household goods and other items via air, road, and sea. This role is pivotal in managing relationships with clients, understanding the intricacies of the import/export process, and ensuring top-tier customer service throughout the entire moving journey.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Aggressive marketing and sales of company services to the targeted market segments

as allocated by Customer Service, Business Dev and Sales Manager

  • Oversight of Customer Satisfaction – during and after the Job Completion, over and

above giving the customer the chance to respond on the customer feedback forms;

  • Identify and Update Sales & Marketing Manager of current clients as well as any sales

opportunities;

 Sales - Rope in not only’ Fresh’ but also ‘In-house’ Service Opportunities;

 Payment Follow-up – respective to Job Completions;

 Undertake Site Surveys and prepare Quotations;

  • Continuous update of sales leads and follow through to closure of business with

liaison with operational team to ensure customer expectations are meet leading to

customer satisfaction.

  • Participate in Staff Training Programs, thereby ensuring highest standards of proficiency in service delivery;

 Participate in the General Sales & Marketing and OPS Assessment Meetings – with

  • Sales, Fleet, Removals and Warehouse Personnel;
  • Continuous identification of new market lines and build on relationship with key

stakeholders for business growth and achievement of sales targets set.

  • Manage and maintain relationships with all agents to ensure that they deliver

services as agreed upon and also to serve as potential lead sources to more

business.

  • Compliment all related Claims & Complaints, Remedy Resolution & Incident Recording;
  • Manage and provide leadership in daily import-export operational activities to ensure

shipments are processed timely and properly to meet business needs, and the ensure

Customer Satisfaction is maintained.

  • Manage all import-export moving ensuring all individuals in this process are well trained and prepared to support the business needs within the requirements of the company’s standards
  • Work with internal stakeholders proactively to influence and ensure import/export

solutions being considered to adhere to international trade regulations and product

quality.

  • Manage network and relationships with Transportation Service Providers ensuring key performance indicators are maintained at a satisfactory level.
  • Work closely with our overseas agents on formal enquiries for import and export

relocation service requests.

  • Develop, publish, and implement control documents (policies, procedures, processes,

and work instructions) for Import and Export Operational activities.

  • Work closely with our overseas agents in the determination of key trade data such as

Country of Origin, Tariff Code/Schedule B, Export Commerce Control Number (ECCN), INDs and customs valuations for products imported/exported to support relocation projects.

  • Prepare reports on sales achievement, lost sales, closed businesses, potential

/prospective clients, clients data base and leads closed for review by BD and Sales Manager

  • Ad hoc projects assigned by management.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Business Management or preferred relevant equivalent from

recognized University

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in import/export/logistics
  • Strong understanding and experience with international trade compliance laws
  • Effective Communicator, with proven Customer Care competences and impeccable

      interpersonal skills

  • Proven IT Skills (Windows / Office / Operating Systems)
