DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide FP&A finance support to the accounting teams related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.
- Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
- Partner with the finance team and non-finance teams and collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
- Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
- Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.
- Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
- Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Supporting decision-making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance
- Leading and delivering on Digital Finance transformation by identifying areas for technology adoption and streamlining
- Performing ad-hoc analysis where required to assist in management decision-making
- Managing the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning process
- Modeling long-term growth and determining the business elements that influence it.
- Working with the executive team to develop the company's medium to long-term financial and strategic plans
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- A Bachelor's degree and at least seven years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field are required
- Required professional qualification CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent
- A strong analytical toolkit that makes use of business intelligence and reporting software
- Capability to multitask and adapt to a constantly changing, quick environment
- Outstanding communication skills and relationship-building abilities
- Capability to lead budgeting and forecasting processed throughout the organization
- Advanced computer program skills, such as the ability to write macros in Excel and other financial packages
- Demonstrable experience with preparing financial statements, management accounting (costing, unit economics)
- Netsuite experience will be an added advantage
