DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement:

  • Analyze and streamline existing workflows to reduce waste, delays, and costs.
  • Implement systems (software, protocols, or SOPs) to improve productivity.
  • Ensure operational KPIs are met and exceeded.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Manage, motivate, and train the operations team.
  • Foster a positive work culture centred around accountability and teamwork.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.

Fleet or Asset Management:

  • Ensure the company’s tools, machinery or assets are well-maintained.
  • Optimize asset utilization and reduce downtime.
  • Track maintenance schedules and fuel efficiency.

Customer Satisfaction & Service Delivery:

  • Ensure timely and quality service to clients or partners.
  • Resolve escalations quickly and professionally.
  • Work with customer service or sales teams to align operations with client

expectations.

 Cost Management & Budgeting:

  • Monitor operational expenses and stay within budget.
  • Find opportunities to reduce costs without sacrificing quality or efficiency.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to local regulations, licensing, and safety standards.
  • Conduct safety training and audits regularly.

 

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Use data to monitor performance, spot trends, and drive improvements.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on key metrics (efficiency, costs, staff

performance).

Scalability & Growth Planning:

  • Support business expansion by building scalable processes.
  • Plan staffing, logistics, and infrastructure needs in line with growth targets.

Vendor & Partner Relations:

  • Negotiate with suppliers or third-party service providers.
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Qualifications in Building and Construction or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in site supervision or operations management, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Good understanding of construction site safety and compliance practices
  • Ability to manage people, resolve conflicts, and enforce discipline
