DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analyses for management.
  • Process and track financial transactions within QuickBooks and Tally software systems.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax requirements.
  • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and year-end accounting processes.
  • Provide financial insights and support for management decision-making.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or CPA qualification
  • Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Tally software
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
