SUMMARY
A pharmaceutical company in Nairobi is looking to fill the role of a Field Sales Executive who will be mandated to sell their products to resellers like pharmacies and hospitals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Establish new customers by organizing and planning daily work schedule to meet potential customers
· Taking orders from customers
· Sourcing for the right customers to sell the products
· Gather current marketplace information and competitors activities
· Attain and exceed set targets and KPI’s
· Provide regular forecasts from the generation, management and closing of a significant pipeline of sales
· Sourcing for new business
· Following up with existing customers
· Collect customer enquiries, explain product functions and resolve problems
· Work with the customers to ensure they are properly supplied
· Project a professional company image through effective services to customers
· Maintain daily, weekly report in a professional manner
· Maintain professional relationship with every customer
· Follow the company rules and also perform any other assigned task
KEY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Diploma in Business Management or any other field
- 2-3 years of work experience in field sales
- Experience in FMCG or Pharmaceutical sales is key
- Presentable with excellent customer service skills
· Hardworking and very aggressive
· Excellent communication skills and confidence to approach customers
· Self-motivated and ability to work under minimal supervision
· Ability to close sales
· Ability to prospect for customers
· Negotiation and convincing skills
· Time management and planning
· Persistent and committed to achieving targets
