· Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential customers.
· Advice clients on the best construction materials and hardware products suited to their needs, providing expert knowledge and recommendations.
· Generate leads and convert them into sales by following up with potential customers through calls, emails, and site visits.
· Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms, ensuring both customer satisfaction and profitability for the company.
· Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
· Maintain accurate sales records, submit daily and weekly sales reports to management, and track performance against targets.
· Stay informed about product developments, new arrivals, and technical specifications to ensure accurate communication with customers.
· Provide after-sales support, ensuring timely delivery, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving any product-related issues.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
· Diploma in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction materials or hardware industry.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
· Knowledge of construction materials and hardware products is a significant advantage.
· Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
· Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
