DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Keeping detailed records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles

·         Performing diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting findings to propose appropriate solutions.

·         Inspecting various parts of vehicles, including transmissions, engines, steering mechanisms and brake systems, while following checklists to ensure all important parts are examined

·         Reading work orders and meeting with customers to explain the repair process

·         Prepare work plans after thoroughly scoping out issues with diesel engines and vehicles.

·         Conduct field visits for emergency repairs and sudden breakdowns.

·         Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

·         Must have certificate/diploma /Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering

·         ASE Diesel certification is an added advantage

·         Must have a DL and valid passport

·         Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
