Duties and Responsibilities
· Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and other food and beverage outlets.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
· Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
· Recruit, train, and manage food and beverage staff.
· Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing levels.
· Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
· Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
· Handle customer complaints and feedback efficiently and professionally.
· Prepare and manage budgets for the food and beverage department.
· Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability.
· Analyze sales and performance metrics to make informed business decisions.
· Oversee inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
· Coordinate with suppliers and manage orders to ensure timely delivery of stock.
· Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste.
· Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to develop and update menus.
· Ensure menu items are cost-effective and meet customer preferences.
· Monitor food trends and introduce new items as needed.
Key Requirements Skills, experience and qualification
· Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of 4 years of experience in food and beverage management.
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
· Proficiency in using restaurant management software.. .
